HistoCyte Laboratories’ MMR-A Analyte Control contains four different cell lines with loss of and intact staining for MLH1, PMS2, MSH2 and MSH6. This control is intended for assessment of reagent and instrument performance only. It is compatible with MLH1 clone ES05, MSH2 clone FE11, MSH6 clone EP49, and PMS2 clone EP51. These cell lines are derived from the following tumors:
Cell line A: Breast ductal adenocarcinoma
Cell line B: Prostate carcinoma
Cell line C: Acute T-cell leukemia
Cell line D: Colon adenocarcinoma
- Cells are fixed in 10% neutral buffered formalin and paraffin wax embedded.
- Sections are cut at 4 µm, mounted on positively charged slides and dried overnight at 37ºC.
- Cell microarrays (CMA) contain cores that are 1.5-2.0 mm in diameter and 3.0-3.5 mm in length. It is possible to obtain over 300 sections depending on thickness.
