Pan Melanoma Analyte Control

-
- For Research Use Only
- 2 Cores: negative and positive staining
- 6 Markers: BRAF V600E, HMB45, Melan A, PRAME, S100, SOX10
HistoCyte Laboratories’ Pan Melanoma Analyte Control consists of 2 cell lines, including a negative control core (cell line A) and a positive control core (cell line B) that demonstrates positive expression of six different melanoma markers: S100, SOX10, HMB45, Melan A, PRAME, and BRAF V600E. Defined positive and negative expression in a single control slide provides a cost-effective option for melanoma immunohistochemistry assay verification. These cell lines are derived from the following tumors:
Cell line A: Colorectal Adenocarcinoma
Cell line B: Malignant melanoma
- Cells are fixed in 10% neutral buffered formalin and paraffin wax embedded.
- Sections are cut at 4 µm, mounted on positively charged slides and dried overnight at 37ºC.
- Cell microarrays (CMA) contain cores that are 1.5-2 mm in diameter and 3-3.5 mm in length. It is possible to obtain over 300 sections depending on thickness.
