Ki67 Analyte Control^DR

HistoCyte Laboratories’ Ki67 Analyte Control, Dynamic Range contains three human cell lines that demonstrate low, intermediate, and high expression of the nuclear proliferation marker Ki67.  This control is intended for assessment of reagent and instrument performance only.  It is compatible with both 30-9 (Roche) and MIB1 (Agilent). These cell lines are derived from the following tumors:

Cell line A:  Urinary bladder carcinoma

Cell line B:  Breast ductal carcinoma

Cell Line C:  Colorectal adenocarcinoma

1. Cells are fixed in 10% neutral buffered formalin and paraffin wax embedded.
2. Sections are cut at 4 µm, mounted on positively charged slides and dried overnight at 37ºC.
3. Cell microarrays (CMA) contain cores that are 1.5-2.0 mm in diameter and 3.0-3.5 mm in length.  It is possible to obtain over 300 sections depending on thickness.
