Biopsy Sponge Pads for Cassettes

These pads are used to hold biopsies in place and prevent them from being lost during processing. They are made of a specially formulated foam which is always verified for consistency throughout to achieve optimum solvent flow. This pad will fit the majority of tissue cassettes for this purpose.  Biopsy samples are sandwiched between two sponge pads and are placed in tissue cassettes.  Will resist temperatures from -40ºC to 121ºC.

Biopsy Sponge Pads for SLIMSETTE Cassettes

These pads are designed thinner than the general biopsy sponge pad to fit the Slimsette cassette's smaller interior chamber. These pads are used to hold biopsies in place and prevent them from being lost during processing. They are made of a specially formulated foam which is always verified for consistency throughout to achieve optimum solvent flow.  Biopsy samples are sandwiched between two sponge pads and are placed in tissue cassettes.  Will resist temperatures from -40ºC to 121ºC.
