IQ Air® Filtration System
Removes Xylene, Formaldehyde & Alcohol Fumes
Newcomer's laborabory air filtration systems effectively remove xylene, formaldehyde, formalin, and alcohol fumes. Cartridges are made of activated carbon and alumina which removes compounds with high molecular weights such as volatile organic compounds (VOCs) i.e. xylene and toluene. For low molecular weight, such as formaldehyde, the filter contains an activated alumina impregnated with potassium permanganate. All filters physically bind contaminated molecules and then chemically destroy them through oxidation. The initial HEPA filter will remove anything 0.3 microns or larger. No oxygen or ozone is generated, since the process is media based only.
Increase laborary safety with one of our compact air filtration systems.
